Miniature Bull Terriers in Russia
Beginning of the story , Strong Style Kennel

For Russia Miniature Bull Terriers are quite a new breed, the oldest dog of this breed is only 6.5 years old. It is Ch Rus, Ch Nat Club, CACIB, Prize-Winner of World and European, Number 2,exellent in CH class Aptus Show, Finland, Strong Stael Little Mouse is only 33 cm high!

Well, let's start from the beginning -
We have been breeding Standard Bull Terriers since 1989 regularly importing new dogs from leading Scandinavian kennels, and got interested in Miniature Bull Terriers, as well

In 2000 we looked with interest at these small dogs in Poznan, at the
EURO DOG Show …

In 2002
We were lucky to buy him! Now he is INT CH, CH RUS, Best in Group Shaman Aksjomat ,
So, the first Miniature Bull Terrier was imported to Russia by Strong Stael Kennel from Poland.
This is how it began!

We were lucky to buy Faraoland Timekeeper in Sweden. He is CH RUS, correct mouth and he passes over his qualities to his children!
His Australian blood is unique for Europe.
We are very grateful to his breeders Gunnar and Helena Strombert!

In 2004
In Estonia , we bought Inglisilm Jambolaja to Strong Style from Inglisilm Kennel which produced World Champion and Champion of Europe of 2006. He quickly became a Champion and has already sired his first children!

We were lucky to buy a fully tested Spanish male, rightfully the most titled male in Russia!

2006 We bought Wizard od Rudej Wedmy, a son of the Champion of Europe 2006 and World Champion 2006.

Inglisilm All or Nothing

Now we are working with unique blood from Sweden – Australian Miniature Bull Terriers and stud dogs born from different World Champions and Champions of Europe.
We also use a female imported from France - CH Tickety Boo Cazador Del Pampa

(her daughter Strong Stael Idyll for Sanna wins Best-in-Show at specialty shows in Finland where she lives now )

Also from 1989 to 2003 4 Minis were born and registered by RKF-FCI from standard couples - i.e., the sire and the dam were standard
( subject to all the required formalities these dogs were officially reclassified as Miniature Bull Terriers: 2 dogs by R.Khomasuridze and 2 years later 2 dogs by N. Kharatishvili )

These dogs should be discussed separately - they are great luck in breeding Minis -
small, extremely good-looking, free from a number of genetic problems typical of Minis which Standard Bull Terriers do not have!
They proved to be great both as show dogs and as sire and dam !
Thus, Strong Stael Little Mouse is the prize-winner of major foreign shows.

She was also Best in Group among tGroup 3 Juniors at Eurasia !

I would like to note that we have never mated Miniature and Standard Bull Terriers in our Kennel - though in a number of countries, according to the Finnish Kennel Club representatives, such matings are done.

Our dogs which cause a lot of interest split off from matings between a Standard BullTerrier and another Standard Bull Terrier and, after
measurements were made at the age of 1 year, were categorized as Miniature Bull Terriers by recognized international experts.
Having received pedigrees for Minis, they were susequently mated to Mini males, however it's history now …

Anyway, I would like to note that ALL the Miniature Bull Terriers, without any exception, descend from Standard Bull Terriers - and we can easily find standard dogs in the pedigrees of World Champions and Champions of Europe. For example, Champion of Europe Poznan 2000

And maybe this is the reason why their progeny are so good?

Let's go back to our dogs.

Today, in addition to the dogs that we have bred, we have SIX imported Minis from the kennels of different countries

Spain
Sweden
Poland
Estonia
France

(among them there are 2 dogs born from different World Champions and Champions of Europe!)

And we are rightfully the biggest and the oldest Miniature Bull Terrier Kennel in Russia which has
the greatest number of Miniature Bull Terriers imported to Russia


And our kennel became the best Mini Bull kennel at WINNER 2006 Show, Finland on December 9-10, 2006!
A worthy conclusion of the year!

I would like to thank our Finnish, Estonian and Russian friends who showed our Minis at the Stud Competition -
(At that moment I was showing Standard Bull Terriers in another ring and even in another building -
it was all the more pleasant, when my Finnish friends brought the Best Kennel rosette to the Standard Bull Terrier ring!
Unity, friendly support and interaction - this is what we should see at dog shows . Hopefully we will see the same at our dog shows in Russia!
